The AIT3000 Nucleus Class B AIS transponder is a first with built in antenna splitter and wireless interface enabling tablets and iPads to integrate into a navigation system as well as saving on installation costs and complexity.
Also showing for the first time will be a new app for Apple MacBooks. NavLink UK will turn a MacBook into a full featured electronic chart plotter. It costs just £29.95 and includes detailed UKHO charts of the UK & Eire. It will also connect via WiFi or USB to the boats' GPS and AIS systems to support real time tracking, routing and AIS overlays. The MAC app also integrates with the iOS NavLink app for iPad and iPhone.
